Indian Accent … Truly Incredible

Indian Accent has been on my bucket list for a while now … After being rated as the best fining dining restaurant in India by Trip Advisor, I was waiting to visit and sample the delicacies it is famous for! Nestled in a warm corner of New Friends Colony, Indian Accent is a boutique hotel with an in-house dining space. Decorated tastefully in different shades of brown, the first impression one gets is of extreme warmth and coziness! After being ensconced comfortably we were welcomed with blue cheese naan … tiny naans filled with cheese and topped with ghee just melted in our mouths! We selected the chef’s 6 course menu paired with different wines for each course … Bacon tacos, wild mushroom cappuccino, cheese chat, chicken chettinad with vermicili, dal makhani to die for, wasabi raita, strawberry and rose sorbet as palette cleaner and wild reds with each of the courses made me dizzy … My system just couldn’t take more food but my taste buds refused to get satiated! I was on my trip to heaven and finally when the deserts arrived, with them arrived the zenith … Daulat Ki chat with whiskey ice cream, gajar ke halwa ka tart and caramelised banana … All of them just melted in my mouth and I had the most delicious orgasm EVER!!! Everything about the place was surreal … My trip to Indian Accent is one happy memory I shall carry with me to my grave!!! Just a small piece of advice … “Please increase your portions people! They are really tiny and you get depressed when it gets over in one bite!!” Else Everything is par Excellence!!! Congratulations and Keep it up!!!
